Charisma #42 - Vintage

Happy Thursday everyone! It's nearly Friday which means it's nearly the weekend, woohoo!

Over at Charisma Cardz this week, our challenge theme is Vintage! I have decided to incorporate this into a Christmas card, but first things first, let me tell you about our great prizes on offer!

First up we have Bunny Zoe Crafts, they are offering a lucky winner: Vintage Tilda, Vintage Crochet Flowers and also a set of 6 Christmas Tree charms! What FAB prizes!!

And next we have All That Scraps, who are kindly offering either 4 stamps or 1 stamp set by C.C. Designs!

And now for my project this week. To create the main image, I stamped with a Acirondack Paint Dabber in Pearl onto a scripture stamp and heat dried it, then inked over the words with DIs in Tea Dye and Antique Linen. I then wiped over the scripture with a damp paper towel to remove the ink from the words, see how it shows through the ink? I found this technique in the Tim Holtz book, it's the first time I have tried it and I will definitely be doing it again! The Reindeer is a Papermania stamp, stamped in Stazon. Papers are from Basic Grey and something else which I'm unsure of the maker! The main BP has also been inke around the edges with Tea Dye. Sentiment is Papermania, and the mosaic tiles and ribbon are from stash.

Thanks for Looking!

C.R.A.F.T. #73 - Spooky

BOO!!  Thats right, the challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. this Thursday is 'Spooky'!!

Our fab sponsor this time is Craft Obsessions, and the lucky winner will receive a £10 gift voucher!

For my project, I've made a door hanger in the spooky spirit. I thought the pumpkin would look a bit too cheerful in colour so I've kept everything monochrome, I think it adds to the eeriness...!
