Exciting news!

I just wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news with you all! The lovely Karen at Feline Playful has decided not to discontinue her challenge list after all, and has taken on a team of co-ordinators, and I am very proud to be able to say I am part of that team! Therefore I will no longer continue to update my personal list, everything will be done through Feline Playful. We have some fab upcoming plans to expland the information on offer over there so please visit the blog for all your challenge needs!


CRAFT #83 - Thank You

Hi and hope everyones been having a fantastic holiday season. I was back to work yesterday, the 4 days off went sooooo fast!

Onto our last challenge of 2010 at C.R.A.F.T, this week we'd like to see your Thank You cards! I'm sure lots of you will be needing them so why not make good use of any new crafty stash ;)

I've used this very sweet LOTV cat which was sent to me a whilw ago by my lovely friend Sarah! He's coloured with Promarkers and I've used papers by Kate Knight. The sentiment is from the same paper pack, and I've embossed some purple glitter card with a cuttlebug folder, I think it's called birds and swirls or something like that! The border punch is from MS and the gems and ribbon are from stash.

IDIC #32 In with the new

Happt Boxing Day! I dont know about you but I'm off to the sales today to see what bargains I can hunt down! So without further ado, let me tell you about the new challenge at I Did it Creations this week!

Charisma #51 - Pearls & Lace

C.R.A.F.T. - Happy New Year!

Yes thats right, it's only just over a week away! And thats why we want to see your New Year creations at CRAFT for this challenge.

This sweet Sally and Sam doodles image was provided for the DT to work with and the lucky winner of this challenge will receive a digi pack as a prize!!



I've used Promarkers to colour the image and paper from Dovecraft cut with Nesties Labels one. The ribbon is from crafty ribbons and I got all the silk roses from Home Bargains! The peel off wording is by papermania.

DS4J #9 - Anything Goes!

Our last challenge of the year at Digistamps 4 Joy is a nice easy one for the holiday season - Anything Goes! We have some talented new DT members joining us in the new year so stop by the main challenge blog to find out a bit more about them :)

I've used the 'Shopping Lady' image from the Digistamps 4 Joy shop, coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from Basic Grey and K&Co, and the lace, flowers and pearls are from stash. The sentiment is a Personal Impressions stamp and I've used a Martha Stewart punch on the brown panel at the bottom. I have inked the edges of the main image with Antique linen DI and the edges of the patterned panel with Tea Dye DI.

Paul the Penguin!

Isnt this penguin a little cutie!! He's called Paul drawn by Robyns Fetish digital stamps, and you can find him in various guises here.

I've coloured him using Promarkers and have made his background using Silkies paints and my brayer. The larger backgroud is made using a large snowflake stamp from Inkadinkadoo which I've stamped all over the front of the card base. The ribbon is from crafty ribbons, the dew drops are from Sarahs cards and the snowflakes are made with a Dovecraft punch.

For my card I used Hibiki Sleepy, and thought it suited a Get Well card! I was short on time so I have used the pre-coloured image that is included, along with Papermania Papers and acrylic letter stamps for the wotds. The image is cut out with Nellie Scalloped Rectangles frames and the card candy is from Craftwork Cards.

Charisma #50

For my project I've used this really sweet Forever Friends stamp, coloured with Promarkers. The papers are also FF and the card is Coredinations gemstones. I've used lots of stickles in the sky to make it look like fireworks but I'm not too sure it's been that successful!

IDIC #33 Creative Folds

My Second post today is for the new challenge over at I Did it Creations, to use creative folds! Our lovely sponsor this week is Stampin Dragon and I got to play with this gorgeous Boy and Snowman image for my project!

I've made an easel card with papers from Dovecraft and the image coloured with promarkers and cut out with scalloped circle nesties. The ribbon is from stash and the sentiment is craftwork cards. I've aded stickles around the scallops and also to the centre of the snowflakes, which are made with Dovecraft punches. Easel cards are always so hard to photograph!!


OSAAT #43

Two posts from me today! Here's the first for you, announcing our final challenge for 2010 at One Stitch at a Time! This will run until we are back with you on the 9th January, giving the hardworking DT some much needed and well deserved time off! This was my first DT position and I've been at it for 6 months now and still loving it! I've had such a blast working with all the DT members past and present and hope it long may comtinue ;) Anyway enough blabbering from me, onto the challenge details!

The large poinsettia is a Marianne die. I've added stickles on the image and swirls to give them some sparkle, and the sentiment is by Craftwork cards.
