Tree of Stitches

I've been a cross stitcher for many years now, and recently I came across a Yahoo Group called The Stitch Specialists, which concentrates on more 'speciality' stitches. I started off with this gorgeous project called Tree of Stitches, designed by a very talented lady called Abi Gurden. Here's my finished tree with some close ups of the varieties of different stitches I used!

I stitched it on an ivory colour 25ct evenweave fabric, and used 2 different DMC vareigated threads.

Thanks for stopping by! I am about to embark on another Stitch along with this group called The Great Escape, in which I will learn even more gorgeous new stitches and techniques!
