Altered key cabinet

This is a cabinet I altered for a christmas present, I couldnt blog the finished article until now but I did tease it a while ago on my blog!

It started off plain wood and I painted it with black acrylic paint and then covered it with a layer of glitter mod podge. The die cut swirls are made with a sizzix die and gold card, and I printed the steampunk heart image out.

I do hope the recipient liked it!
