Saturated Canary Roses are Red

This has to be one of my all time favourite Saturated Canary images!
I've really been trying to improve my promarker colouring recently, I was hardly using them and I felt bad having such a lot of expensive pens just sitting there being neglected! So I've been practising lots, trying to improve my shading and skin/hair colouring as this is something I find difficult with them.

I also invested in a few flexmarkers and I'm hooked!! Something else to make a dent in my bank account ;)

I've made an easel card for a change as part of this weeks challenge at Charisma Challenges - More than 1 fold - sponsored by Saturated Canary!

Papers are by First Edition from the Spring pad and the Up up and away pad.
Dies - Spellbinders, Whimsy
Sentiment - Craftwork cards
Leaves made with MS punch
Gems, flowers and ribbon from stash.
Edging stitch is a stamp.
Thanks for visiting me today :)

Hi Gemma,
Love your design. The colours go so well together. I know what you mean about finding it difficult with shading with markers. I feel the same way about myself. It is quite difficult to learn & imagine where the shading should be but like someone said to me, the more we try & practice the better it will become. I think you have done a wonderful job with it. Keep up the great work hun. Also, thank you for your entry to my DT Call over at Dreamtime Designs. Good luck & fingers crossed. Hugs, Lisa.
