Here's my card for the third Creative Card crew challenge. Not colours I use very often, I'm usually more your pink & purple kind of girl! :) This challenge was great to stretch my comfort zone, thanks for setting it once again ladies at CCC :)

Get well card
Well I'm back on track again with my crafting after my experience with a broken tooth on Thursday night! Made this card for my auntie this morning as she's just had surgery and popped it round earlier on.
Card base is from Die cuts with a view, has a lineny texture. Background paper is papermania eastern origins with brads in the corners. Penny black hedgehog image (courtesy of my NEC Stash! :D) coloured with watercolour pencils, and you cant really see it in the pic but I've also added some glitter glue to the roses. I think she was pleased with it :)

Mother's day triangle box
This is my first attempt at a triangle box card I made my mum for mother's day, made using the pink petticoat template and papermania eastern origins paper. (And some sparkly gems!) I wrote a message on the inside base with an embossing pen and then embossed with silver powder, but forgot to take a pic of that part before I'd tied it up with ribobon, got a bit carried away finishing it off lol :)

Creative Card Crew challenge 2
Here's my card for the Creative Card Crew challenge 2 - 'using no papers'! I've used a Penny Black stamped image, coloured with a combination of whispers pastel pens and a pink sakura stardust pen to add some sparkle to her top and cake :) Mounted on an oval of purple card with pearlescent light purple card for the base. Finished off with three sparkly flower shapes with gems and some ribbon :)

MSE tearing challenge
Here's my card for the current MSE card challenge, 'using something torn'! I've used a plain purple card blank and torn a rectangle of purple coredinations card. On top of this is a strip of papermania amethyst paper, then a smaller piece of the purple coredinations with a silver peel off for the sentiment. On the top and bottom I've stamped rows of teeny flowers with gems in the centres :)

Creative Card Crew first challenge: Green theme!
This is my card for the Creative Card Crew's first challenge! Here's a link to their blog post
I started off with a blank square green card, and for the main image I've used a flower stamped onto a darker shade of green card and embossed with green glitter embossing powder.

The background card on the left is actually a cut up John Lewis voucher card which I thought was so pretty it would look nice as part of a card (recycling!).
The smaller pices of green paper are from papermania and the sentiment is a rub on. Finally I added some ribbon and gems to finish it off. Hope it's good enough to enter into the challenge!!
My first blog post!
Well I have decided to take the plunge and join the world of blogland in order to have an online place for my creations, and to start participating in some blog challenges!
I've been cardmaking for about 6 months now and am loving every minute, and trying out new techniques all the time. My cards are nothing special at the moment (compared to others I see!) but I'm hoping to make improvements with each and every card I make.
Onwards and upwards!!
