Altered Fudge Tin

This tin started off as an empty fudge tin, and after a lot of faffing around on my part, I've transformed it into a pretty trinket tin. I've used green cardstock along with an olive colour whitewash coredinations card, which has been embossed with cuttlebug folder divine swirls, and then sanded to reveal the lovely olive core.
The flower and swirls were sent to me by my lovely friend Sarah :)

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

My new pride and joy!

As my current laptop is getting a bit old (in laptop terms anyway!) I decided the time was right to replace it. So meet my new Pink Dell laptop! I havent switched it on yet as my OH is out and I like to leave the technical whizzardry stuff to him, he'll transfer all my stuff over for me. But I was just so excited I had to post a pic!! Isn't she beautiful!! I do feel though, that she needs a name, something princessy... I am open to suggestions please!!

Hi everyone! over at digistamps 4 joy they are having a DT call!

To enter I have to showcase one of my favourite creations! So here it is, the image is from Stitchy Stamps and the papers are by papermania. I have die cut the flourish swirls and glittered them, and used my sewing machine to stitch around the edge of the card.

My new old shelving!

After a good sanding, a few coats of paint and some TLC my new old storage unit has come up lovely!
I will use it for all things that are in small pots and packages, such as dew drop inkpads, glitters, embossing powders and such like!

20 years and counting!

I was asked this week to make a 20th wedding anniversary card. As 20th is China, I really wanted to try and include that theme on the card but everything I tried I didnt really like.
So instead I just kept it nice and classic, with a swirly heart cut out on white pearlescent card using my robo, and then backed with acetate. Then I glittered the edges with stickles!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Watch this space...

I picked up this cute little shelving unit off ebay for £8.81 including postage! Thought it was to good to miss as I've been looking for something similar for a while. It measures 30x30cm.
Anyway, it needs a bit of doing up so I am going to alter it and use it in my craft room on the wall
This is the 'before' picture, so watch this space to see it completed!
I do love a good project!!

These are my cats, Amber and Silver. In this picture they are having a nice cuddly time! I love this picture as they look so peaceful - I keep a copy of this picture on my desk at work to remind me what is waiting to greet me when I get home :)

5. Pass it on to 5 people - here goes!

Clear(ly) Christmas!

I love working with acetate and really should get round to it more, so when I saw the current challenge over at the Creative Cottage I knew I had to make something to enter! I've really been trying to get a move along with my christmas cards recently, so decided that this was the way to go. I have used acetate for the card base and think that this gives such a great effect in itself, I dont like to cover it all up!

I have used a Dovecraft snowflake punch, a Hobby Art christmas stamp and paper from The Snowman christmas paper pack. Not forgetting the Stickles of course!! Thanks for stopping by!! :)
