Charisma #13 - Bling and Sparkle

I've used this gorgeous little bear called Coco with Roses by Digistamp Boutique for my card this week! Isn't he sweet! I've coloured with Promarkers and cut him out with Go Kreate ovals, then used Go Kreate scalloped ovals to cut a pink frame for him. The paper is from the FF springtime pack and the ribbon is from crafty ribbons. I've used a MS Doily Lace border punch, and added gems to the flowers and stickles on the edge of the oval to add Bling!!

CRAFT #96 - Inspirational Photo

We've got the most gorgeous inspirational picture for you this week at CRAFT Challenge!

I've kept my project for this week really simple (partly for lack of time!), but I think it looks really effective. I've taken my inspiration from the colour and sparkle in the pic. The flower and leaves are cut with Marianne dies and the greeting is a rubber stamp, The gem and mirri card are from stash :) This was so quick to make and has a really fresh feel to it.

Tired little me!!

I had an absolutely FAB time at the NEC helping out on the Samuel Taylors stall! My feet and whole body are absolutely killing me now though, I went back to my desk job today for a well earned 'rest' lol :) Thanks to Carly, Brenda and Carol for coming to see me, it was so lovely to meet you all :) I went on google reader for the first time in almost a week earlier on and had over 500 unread posts! There's no way I'm going to be able to catch up with that so I will just say thanks to everyone who's been leaving me comments while I've been 'away' so to speak and begin afresh with my commenting!

Even though we were extremely busy on the stall I did manage to do a bit of shopping myself, of course! :)

I've used this gorgeous image by Stitchy called Silk on Glass, coloured with Promarkers. I've added a layer of Glossy Accents to the vase to give it a glazed dimensional effect. The papers are from Papermania's Henbury Lane collection and Dovecraft back to basics range. The punch I've used is by Martha Stewart and the sentiment is a stamp. Ribbon, gems and pearls are from stash, and I've also added some stickles to the flowers.

Crafty Sentiments New Release images!

Today over at Crafty Sentiments, they are releasing some gorgeous new digis! I was flattered to be asked to make a card using one of them along a 'Girly' theme :)

This is Amy as a Bride, I've coloured her with Promarkers and used papers from Dovecraft Eastern Promise paper pack. The border punch is by MS and the flowers and leaves are made with my new sets of Marianne Dies. The Sentiment is made with MS Alphabet punches, and I've added stickles to the letters, flowers and to Amy's veil. Ribbon and gems are from stash.

DS4J - Clean and Simple

We're going all Clean and Simple at Digistamps for Joy this week! I've used this gorgeous image called Puppie, coloured with Promarkers and inked around the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink. I've cut the image out with circle nesties and made a mat from brown paper using scalloped circles. The ribbon is from stash. The Sentiment is from Craftwork cards and I've also added Distress ink to this.

I've used this gorgeous digi stamp, I'm not sure who it's by but if anyone knows please leave me a comment so I can give credit! Coloured with promarkers and cut with Oval Nestabilities dies. I've used MS doily lace border punch on the card edge and the purple centre strip. The ribbon is from stash and the sentiment is a stamp by Dovecraft. The metallic gold pearls I picked up on my most recent USA visit. I've added a touch of stickles to the flower middles to give some sparkle, and put a layer of glossy accents over the vase to give the illusion of glass.

IDIC #46 - Masking Technique

Happy Sunday everyone! You know what that means...yep it's time for another challenge at I Did it Creations! Thanks to everyone who took the time to join in with our Sketch challenge last week!

This week we are challenging to you to use a Masking Technique. .If you aren't sure what this is then be sure to check out the main blog for some tips :)

I've done my masking digitally on my project, using Inga the bunny by Robyns Fetish, and an Easter Egg basket which was a freebie earlier this month from DigiSparkle. I've combined the two to make a cute little scene :) coloured with Promarkers as usual! I've cut the image out with Circle Nesties and used Scalloped circle Nesties on some Papermania Blueberry Hill paper to make a frame. I've added stickles to the scallope around the image and yellow gems to the flowers to give a bit of sparkle! The ribbon is from stash and the ticket sentiment is by Renate.

Now onto my challenge card! I've used this fab digi of a little boy in his race car by Stamping Boutique! Coloured with promarkers, I've cut it out with Deckled rectangles nesties and inked around the edges with my newest DI inkpad - Pumice Stone! The papers are from a male oriented DCWV stack and the sentiment is a papermania stamp. The brads are also papermania and the card candy is from craftwork cards.

I hate photographing easel cards, I can never seem to manage to get a decent pic without lots of clutter in the background! That might be due to my messiness or lack of photography skills...or probably both!
