CRAFT #108 - a Recipe

At CRAFT this week, we have a yummy recipe for you!!! 1 tag, 2 circles and 3 squares/rectangles.

I'm using their image called Time for Tea Booboo, which I have coloured with Promarkers. The patterned paper is from my scraps drawer and I have no idea what brand it is! The border punch and the Tag punch are by MS. The white card is embossed with Cuttlebug scripture embossing folder. The circles have been made with x cut circle punches, and the greeting is a stamp by Personal Impressions. The ribbon, flower, and dew drops are from stash.

CRAFT #105 - Weddings/Love

This week at CRAFT challenge our theme is Weddings/Love.

CRAFT #103 - Happy Birthday and Blog Hop!!

This week at CRAFT Challenge we are celebrating our 2nd Blogaversary in style. Our challenge this week is Happy Birthday! (to Us) to fit in with this celebration. Please link your project to InLinkz as per usual.

To celebrate we will also will be doing a Blogaversary Blog Hop with many sponsors and prizes on the way. To be in with having a chance of winning these prizes, you will need to leave a comment on our (G)DT's blogs, a winner will be chosen randomly at each stop.

I've used their gorgeous Martini glass image, coloured with Promarkers and cut out with scalloped circle nesties. The paper is by My Minds eye and I've used a MS Punch down one side of the paper and one of the sides of the card blank. I've put a piece of the same paper behind the punched panel on the inside of the card so it shows through. The doily is cut with a Nellies die and the sentiment is a stamp by Fiskars. Gems are from stash and I've added stickles to the doily and the glass she's sitting in.

CRAFT #100 a Recipe!

Yes you heard correctly, it's our 100th challenge over at CRAFT!! in a few weeks we also have our Blogoversary coming up so be sure to take part in the exciting stuff we have planned for you!

Back to today though, for this weeks challenge we want you to use a recipe of: Ribbon, Tag, 2 Squares and a Circle. I've used this cute image by Lia Stamps called Possie, coloured with Promarkers.

The paper is from Dovecraft Back to Basics range, and the tag is made with a die which I think is sizzix. I've used Cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder on the purple card. The gems and ribbon are from stash and the sentiment is a stamp by Personal Impressions. I've added a touch of stickles to the umbrella for some sparkle!

I've used one of my absolute favourite stamps, Lili of the Valley Thomas with Flowers :) Coloured with Promarkers and inked around the edges with Distress Inks (Milled Lavender). The Flowers are from stash and the leaves are made with a MS Punch. The Papers are from the Sweet Owl collection (by Papermania I think) and the edges of this have also been inked to soften them up. The ribbon is from stash and the greeting is also a LOTV stamp. I've added some gold glitter to the centres of the flowers for just a touch of sparkle :)

I've kept my project for this week really simple (partly for lack of time!), but I think it looks really effective. I've taken my inspiration from the colour and sparkle in the pic. The flower and leaves are cut with Marianne dies and the greeting is a rubber stamp, The gem and mirri card are from stash :) This was so quick to make and has a really fresh feel to it.

CRAFT #92 - Mother's Day

At CRAFT this week, our theme is Mother's Day!

This week we are sponsored by the lovely Lauretta and I was lucky enough to be able to play with this pretty digi stamp.

I've coloured with Promarkers, and used glossy accents on the Vase to make it shine. The image is cut out with Oval nesties and inked around the edges with Victorian Velvet DI. The Paper is from the V&A Hanoverian paper pack and up close it has the most gorgeous lineny texture. The edge punch is MS, as are the leaves. The Flower is from stash and the card candy is from craftwork cards. I'm not sure who the sentiment stamp is by! To add a bit of sparkle, I've added stickles to the flowers, and the centres of the flowers in the punched border, plus glimmer mist on the paper flower and the main image.
