DS4J - Things with Wings

Time for another challenge over at Digistamps 4 Joy, and this time we want to see Things with Wings.

I've used this gorgeous DS4J butterfly image, coloured with Promarkers and cut with nesties deckled rectangles. The paper is from a Dovecraft back to basics paper pack and the lace and gems are from stash. The sentiment is a stamp by Papermania.

DS4J - Celebrations

This fortnight over at the Digistamps 4 Joy challenge blog, we want to see your Celebration projects.

I've used this cake sentiment to make a tag. The papers are from the Dovecraft Sweet Owl pack and I've inked around the edge of the tag with brown ink to add some depth. The stickers are from Accessorise, and I've used Baker's Twine for the string.

 I've gone with shades of lilac for my project, which I've used the gorgeous Starkeeper image for.

She's coloured with Promarkers and set against a scalloped oval die cut with Go Kreate dies then embossed with cuttlebug Daisies folder. The Paper is from Country Companions paper pack and the ribbon is from stash. The card Candy is from craftwork cards.

DS4J - Clean and Simple

We're going all Clean and Simple at Digistamps for Joy this week! I've used this gorgeous image called Puppie, coloured with Promarkers and inked around the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink. I've cut the image out with circle nesties and made a mat from brown paper using scalloped circles. The ribbon is from stash. The Sentiment is from Craftwork cards and I've also added Distress ink to this.

DS4J - Lacy Days

This fortnight's challenge at Digistamps 4 Joy is 'Lacy Days'. Yes, we want to see you use Lace on your projects!

I've used this beautiful Daffodil image to make an Easter card. You can find this along with many other fab digis at the Digistamps 4 Joy Shop!

I've added colour with Promarkers, plus a touch of stickles to the centres of the daffidils. The scalloped paper is a scrap from stash cut with scalloped circle nesties, and the sentiment is a freebie from Renate. The lace and gems are from my stash.

I've coloured this gorgeous image with Promarkers and doodled faux stitching around the edge. The Papers are by Papermania and the gorgeous flower was sent to me by the lovely Sarah. I believe it's made from a Marianne Die. The butterflies are made with an xcut punch and the card candy is from craftwork cards. The sentiment is personal impressions and the ribbon is from stash. I've added glamour dust to her wings and the butterflies to give a touch of sparkle.

Our last challenge of the year at Digistamps 4 Joy is a nice easy one for the holiday season - Anything Goes! We have some talented new DT members joining us in the new year so stop by the main challenge blog to find out a bit more about them :)

I've used the 'Shopping Lady' image from the Digistamps 4 Joy shop, coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from Basic Grey and K&Co, and the lace, flowers and pearls are from stash. The sentiment is a Personal Impressions stamp and I've used a Martha Stewart punch on the brown panel at the bottom. I have inked the edges of the main image with Antique linen DI and the edges of the patterned panel with Tea Dye DI.

DS4J #7 - Use a Feather

Challenge time again over at Digistamps 4 Joy! And WOW, what a great response we had to our last challenge! If you entered then check the main blog to see if you are a lucky winner/top 3!

This week we'd like to see feathers on your projects! I've used this lovely shoe image which you can find here at the Digistamps 4 Joy shop, and added feathers to the front! I've coloured with Promarkers and inked the edges with Dusty Concord DI. The DP is Basic Grey and I've punched the flowers with Nellie Snellen embossing punches and added dew drops to the centres. The greeting looks like I've stamped it in green ink for some reason, but honestly it's black!! I've blinged it up by adding a touch of stickles in places.

DS4J #5 - You spin me right round

I hope you all enjoyed the sketch challenge we had on last time at Digistamps 4 Joy! This fortnight, it's time for a new theme, which is....Circles!

I've used this little cutie called Funky Fairy Kelly, and she along with many others can be purchased at the Digistamps 4 Joy store.

I've coloured her with Promarkers and added stickles to her wings and eyes for a bit of sparkle. The scalloped circles are cut with nesties and embossed with scripture embossing folder. The spotty paper is by Dovecraft Back to Basics pack and the sentiment is Craftwork cards. Buttons are from stash!

DS4J #4 - A Sketch!

Time for another challenge over at Digistamps 4 Joy! This week our DT member Audrey has come up with this great sketch for us to use in our projects.

I've incorporated this into a christmas card using this fab candle image from the Digistamps 4 Joy digi shop. I have used papers from DCWV, the green background is embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder and the raised areas inked with red ink. The image is coloured with promarkers and inked around the edges of the oval to give a soft effect. The Border is a Martha Stewart punch and the greeting is from Craftwork Cards. Digistamps 4 Joy #2 - Recycled!

Wow, I can't believe we're on to challenge 2 already! Big thanks to everyone who joined in our first challenge, I hope that you'll join us again and help to spread the word about the fab digis to be won!

Onto the challenge 2, and this time the theme is to use something Recycled on your projects. I just couldnt resist using this sweet Digi sentiment from the Digistamps 4 Joy shop. It suits a tag perfectly so that's what I've made! It's cut with Nestabilities labels one, chalked and layed up onto glitter card and pink card which I have edged with glossy accents. The buttons are my recycled element, I cut them off some old clothes which I was getting rid of!

DS4J Freebie Fairy

This has to be the most beautiul Freebie I've seen recently! She is Digistamps 4 Joy's freebie Digi for the month of September. Why not use her to enter this fortnights challenge at the DS4J blog? You'll have to be quick though as it ends on Wednesday morning!

To show her off I've coloured her with Promarkers and used Papers from Papermania, scalloped circle nesties and cuttlbug daisies embossing folder. Plenty of flat backed gems, stickles and a flower which I made from the tutorial in the latest Do Crafts Magazine, using X cut punches! The leaves are done with a MS punch.
