IDIC #44 - Make the Cut

Sunday means it's time for another challenge at I Did it Creations!

We are sponsored by the lovely Floppy Latte designs. I've used her gorgeous 'Garden Fantasy' silhouette image to make my card along with this weeks theme, 'Make the Cut' This could be punches, or die cuts.

I've added swirls from a quickutz die and the flowers and leaves are made from a combination of Xcut, MS and Nellie snellen punches! oh yes, a girl can NEVER have too many punches ;) I've added some sparkly gems and stickles to bling it up a bit!

Silkies on Acetate

I made this card a while ago but have only just got round to blogging it! I wanted to show you what a fab effect Silkies paints have when used on acetate. What I've done below is use a large stamp on acetate with Stazon, and on the reverse I've applied the Silkies directly to the acetate. Once dry, I matted it onto black card. The paper is Forever friends and the panel behind the image is embossed with a cuttlebug folder, I think it's called Birds and Swirls. The swirly stamps in the two corners are by Dovecraft. To finish off, I've added ribbon, gems and two tiny pegs which I coloured black with my promarkers!

I've used this digi from Sassy studio designs, coloured with Promarkers. The Papers are from FF springtime stack and Ive used whitewash colour core card for the image mat, which has been embossed with cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder. I've used a Martha Stewart border punch on the bottom edge.The ribbon is from May Arts, and the small sentiment is from craftwork cards. The larger sentiment is a clear stamp. I've added stickles and glossy accents to the bubbles for a bit of sparkle and shine!!

I thought this would make a fab anniversary card! The sentmiment is also DWA. I've coloured Tony and Tabatha with Promarkers and the graduated background I made with my brayer and a big n juicy inkpad. I also added a shimmer to it with Glimmer mist spray but unfortunately this doesnt show very well in the pic. I added just a few pink flat backed pearls to finish off.

CRAFT #90 - Not a Card

This weeks challenge at CRAFT is 'Not A Card'! We are sponsored by the lovely Angela over at  Toucan Scraps who is generously offering a prize for the winner!

I've used her Confetti box template to make this sweet little box, ideal for making and transporting your own truly original confetti!

While I was in the Wedding mood, I decorated this wooden trinket box. Ideal for a small Bride's gift to keep those wedding nick-nacks in! Papers are Papermania summer bloom and I covered all the paper with Rock Candy distress stickles, it has a lovely sparkle which was difficult to photograph. The flower is Prima e-line which has been spritzed with diamond glimmer mist

I've coloured him with Promarkers and used a sheet of paper which is covered in little kitties, paw prints and fish which I bought as a loose sheet from the NEC. The black paper has been embossed with cuttlebug Swiss dots folder and the ribbon and card candy is from stash.

IDIC #42 Bling it up

Hi everyone! Sunday again, which means time for another challenge at I Did it Creations! This week, we want to see you Bling it Up!

He's actually a Penguin but I have chosen to colour with yellow tones of Promarkers to try and turn him into a little easter chick. I think he looks really cute :)

I've used papers from FF springtime set, and Dovecraft Back to Basics set, with yellow and green glitter card. I used a MS doily lace edge punch and MS alphabet punches to make the greeting. The green gems and ribbon are from stash and I've added stickles to the letters, his feet and his beak

I made this card, tag and bag set for Crafty Ribbons using their new Sweet Treats range.

 For the card, I used small cupcake stamps that were free with a magazine and a Kanban stamp for the larger one. I added touches of colour with Promarkers to coordinate with the ribbon, as I wanted the ribbon to really pop and be eye catching.

Love heart keyring

Hi all, just a quick one from me to show you this keyring I made out of Fimo with a silicone love heart mould. I added the pink to the letters with a pink Promarkers, then glazed it and added a bale to the back to make a cute keyring :)
