Saturated Canary Nevaeh

I never get bored of colouring this little beauty called Nevaeh by Krista at Saturated Canary. I've used Prismacolor pencils on her this time!
Sorry the pic is a bit dim - the light outside is terrible and I hate taking pics under artificial lights, it never seems to look right!
This is the first time I've used some of my new stash - specifically my Spellbinders Floral Ovals dies and my Spiders Web net!

A few Xmas cards I never got round to blogging...

Warning - Photo heavy post!! Just wanted to get these off my chest and out of my 'to blog' folder as they are driving me crazy and now Xmas is over they have no good reason to be sitting there!!

Make a little birdhouse in your soul

This is a wooden money box I altered by using Decopatch.

I got the box from the MDF man at the NEC and used decopatch papers to decorate the base and roof.

I thought the song lyric from Birdhouse in your soul suited this project so well! I made it using Word and printed it out.

The flower wreath is a memory box die and the leaves are made with an MS punch. The flower is from Wild Orchid crafts.

I am using this to save for my next trip to the NEC!

Kenny K Dude

Wow this is NOT a christmas card!! Feels like thats all I've been blogging recently!

The image is a pre coloured topper from Kenny K which I got at the NEC recently.

I made the brick background myself with a Mask and distress inks. I find it hard to believe that it started out as a plain white piece of card! I am loving Masking recently and using my brayer to get different effects!

The ticket sentiment is a digi which I've printed out onto Kraft card and the black net stuff is called "Malmal" which I got from Paperchase. The corners are made with a Sizzix die.

Snowy Postcard Stamp!!!!

I've been wanting this stamp for AGES ever since I started seeing what the creative Coops can do with it! Stampendous really should be paying her commission as so many people must have bought this after seeing her fab work with it!

I only hope I've managed to do it justice with this card, the first I've made with it as it only arrived today!
I can't believe it's only a week till Christmas and I'm STILL making Christmas cards!

I stamped onto cream card using Frayed Burlap distress ink and edged the whole panel with gilding flakes.

The poinsettias are Marianne dies, the floral sprigs are Memory Box and the sentiment is LOTV.

Papers are papermania which I've distressed around the edges, and I've added lots of stardust stickles to the snowy roofs which hasnt been picked up very well on my pics! I should have waited to photograph this in daylight but I couldnt wait to blog it :)

Winter Wryn

This is a digi by Tiddly inks called Winter Wryn, isnt she sweet!

I've coloured her with Prisma pencils and inked around the edge with distress inks.

The red card is embossed with a cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and the paper is a scrap I found, no idea who it's by!
The sentiment is by Lili of the valley and the branch is made with a Memory box die. The Xmas tree hiding in the corner is made with a Marianne die.
Ribbon and dew drops are from stash.

Poinsettia Christmas Card

This was surprisingly simple to make although it looks quite busy!

I cut 3 poinsettias out using Marianne Dies, stamped a sentiment and cut it out with Nesties and used one sheet of patterned paper by Papermania for the background.

Brayered Background

This is a card I made using my brayer, distress inks, and my new splodge mat!
I masked off the moon with a post it note and used torn paper to make the hills.

The Stamps are all from Kaisercraft and the sentiment is by Fiskars.

Indigo Blu bare forest

This is a beautiful, versatile stamp by IndigoBlu and I never get bored playing with it seeing what new looks I can achieve!

For this christmas card, I stamped onto black card with FlitterGlu and sprinkled with glitter. As I didnt want the glitter to shed everywhere, I then covered the whole panel with Acetate to protect the glitter.
