AUD Sentiments - Happy Birthday!

I've used their fab digi, this vase of hearts, which I have coloured with Prisma pencils. I've used nesties circle and scalloped circle dies to cue the image out and added glitter to the vase and the scallops. The paper is from Martha Stewart and the circle sentiment is from Craftwork cards. The shaped card blank is also CWC :)

Charisma - With Love

Morning peeps! I can't believe how hot it's getting this week, summer was so rubbish, yet whats all this autumn heat about!! madness!!

This week at Charisma, Team Carly want to see your 'With Love' creations! I decided to join in too this time ;)

The heart image I have used is by Meljens and I've coloured it with promarkers. The paper is a piece I found in my scraps drawer so I'm not too sure where its from! The circle sentiment is from LOTV which has been inked with Faded Jeans Distress ink, and the ribbon is from stash.

Quirky crafts GDT: In the jungle!

Hi folks! I ws lucky enough to join the crew over at Quirky crafts this week as a guest DT for their new challenge: In the Jungle!

I got to play with this oh so cute Lion from Digital Delights, who are the sponsors of this challenge!

I've coloured him in with Promarkers and cut out with a nesties scalloped circle die. The edges have been inked with Scattered Straw distress ink. The papers are from the Papermania Birdsong paper pack and I've used 2 EK Success punches, the paw prints and the wavy dots. The leaves are from a pack of stickers I got from home bargains ages ago, the greeting is from Craftwork cards, and the ribbon is from stash.

Feline Thankful Blog Hop!!

Hello everyone and welcome to our Feline Thankful Blog party and Hop!! Weare thrilled you have chosen to party with us. We have organized this blog party to thank all of those who have joined us as followers - over 1800 of you and counting!! Gingerloft – Vintage/Distressed

This Sunday means time for another challenge at Gingerloft!

We want to see your Vintage and Distressed creations this time!

I've used this lovely image of a couple of old time film stars, cut out with nesties labels 2 and inked with Antique Linen and Scattered Straw Distress Inks. The champagne bottle was a freebie digi which I've coloured with promarkers. The background paper was a scrap in my stash and the greeting is a stamp.

Tree of Stitches

I've been a cross stitcher for many years now, and recently I came across a Yahoo Group called The Stitch Specialists, which concentrates on more 'speciality' stitches. I started off with this gorgeous project called Tree of Stitches, designed by a very talented lady called Abi Gurden. Here's my finished tree with some close ups of the varieties of different stitches I used!

I stitched it on an ivory colour 25ct evenweave fabric, and used 2 different DMC vareigated threads.

AUD Sentiments - Get Well Soon

Time for another challenge at AUD Sentiments!!
We are coming up to the time of year when the time is just right for the sniffles, so how about seeing some Get Well cards!

I used this image from them to create my card.
I've kept it very simple, coloured with my prisma pencils and cut out with GoKreate scalloped oval die. The sentiment is from my new Lili of the valley set which I am doing to death at the moment ;)

This week I've been off work and getting into the christmas crafting mood!

So here's my latest offering for Charisma, a card inspired by We wish you a merry christmas, of course!

For my card this week, I've used my new Christmas Kitties LOTV stamp! I've coloured it with promarkers, and the eagle eyed of you might notice that one is brown and one grey ;) wonder why I chose those colours!! I've inked the edges with Peeled Paint Distress ink and used my new Stiches stamp from TandA stamps to do the border, as I am totally rubbish at doodling stitches!
The paper is from the MME christmas paper pack that came with the latest issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft, and I've inked the edges of this with Fired Brick DI.
The sentiment stamp is also from LOTV and the ribbon is from May Arts. Sparkly stars and gems are from stash.

Gingerloft – Make a Sky

At Gingerloft for this fortnights challenge, we want to see you include a handmade Sky on your project, made using chalks, inks, or anything else that takes your fancy!

I used this fab hot air balloon image, coloured with Promarkers and the sky is chalked. I've cut the image out with scalloped circle nesties and the backing paper is from a FF pad. The sentiment is a fiskard stamp and the card candy is from craftwork cards.

AUD Sentiments - For a Girl

Hi folks!

This weeks challenge at AUD Sentiments is to make a card/setiment for a Girl!

Our sponsor this week is the lovely Di's Digi Downloads!

For my project I've used one of their gorgous Mouse digis, coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from Dovecrafts Sugar and Spice collection and my scraps drawer! I've inked around the edge of the image with Tattered Rose Distress Ink and added stickled to the butterfly and leaves, which are made using an Xcut punch. I love this punch as it embosses the leaves too making them look real rather than dead flat :) The flowers are from Crafty Bitz and the dewdrops are from Sarahs Cards, and the sentiment is by Personal Impressions.
