Treasures box

This tin started off it's life containing yummy fudge my parents brought me back from their trip to Lands End!

Sadly as all the contents were eaten quite rapidly, it became 'just a tin' until I decided to decorate it into a little trinket box

I have used papers from Dovecraft, sizzix corner dies, letters from Martha Stewart alphabet punches, and stickles, ribbon and gems from stash.

Crafty Ribbons blog!

Pop over to the crafty ribbons blog to see this card I made for them with their new Gingerbread ribbon range! Apparently it travelled to the Paris exhibition with them and all the french ladies were asking how I tied the bow! ooh I'm famous abroad ;) (well almost lol)

I Did it Creations #32 - Vintage Christmas

This weeks challenge at I Did it Creations is Vintage Christmas! We are sponsored by Hope Jacare and I was lucky enough to get to use this delicious looking Christmas Pudding image! Yum I am soooo looking forward to eating lots of christmas food soon!!

Back to my project! I have coloured the image with promarkers and inked around the edges and corners with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. The papers are from Papermania and FF, and the larger BP is inked around the edges with Tea Dye DI. I've added red flat backed gems and gold flat backed pearls. The sentiment is craftwork cards inked with DIs, the holly punch is MS and the berries, holly and borders have had the stickles treatment!

OSAAT #42 Old Stash New Stash

C.R.A.F.T. #79 - Christmas Birthday

At the C.R.A.F.T Challenge this week, we want to see your cards made around the theme of Christmas Birthday!

The DT were lucky enough to get to play with Angelas Jolly Christmas paper pack for our projects, and this is what I've come up with:

I've used a Manga girl image which was sent to me a while ago by my lovely friend Trisha! She's coloured with Promarkers and glamour dust on her fluffy bits! Card Candy is from Craftwork cards, swirl is a quickutz die which I've added gold stickles to.

Charisma #48 - Sketch with a twist

Welcome to this weeks challenge at Charisma! This time, we want to see you use our sketch with a twist - the twist being that a sentiment or verse is the main focus rather than an image!

For my project this week I've used a lovely sentiment which was a freebie a while ago from Raindrop Echo Designs. I've cut this out using Nesties lablels 8 and inked the edges with DI's in Antique Linen, Tea Dye and just a touch of Walnut Stain. The circle behind the sentiment is embossed with Music notes cuttlebug folder. The smaller background square is made with a stamp from Dimension Fourth, using Tea Dye DI's and distressing the edges with Peeled Paint DIs. The larger background square is K&Co paper and the corners are made with Sizzix dies. Ribbon is from stash.
