Charisma #45 - Sympathy

It's a sad fact that we all find ourselves having to make a sympathy card from time to time, but needs must, so this week that is our challenge theme at Charisma.

Our lovely sponsor this week is Softpencil designs and they are offering a fab $15 voucher to one lucky winner to spend at their website!

For my card, I've made a brayered background with three different shades of Silkies to look like a sunset, and stamped dandelion clocks over the top in black ink. The card base is made with a gorgeous textured linen card (which hasnt shown up very well in my pics!) and the sentiment is by Personal Impressions.

Charisma #44 - With Love at Christmas

Over at Charisma this week our new challenge theme is 'With Love at Christmas', interpret this how you will!

We have 2 great sponsors this week!
The first is Simon Says Stamp, who are offering a generous $20 voucher to a lucky winner!

And next is Prairiefairy designs, who are offering 5 digis of the winners choice!

For this weeks project I've chosen to male a contemporary christmas card in pastel shades. The paper is from Dovecraft and the big snowflake is made with a Dovecraft punch and embossed with cuttlebug swiss dots folder. The central backgrouns is made using a piece of white paper and a MS snowflake punch layered onto mirror card as a negative. The sentiments are craftwork cards and stamping all day. I have no idea where the purple velvety ribbon came from, I found it whilst digging through my stash - but I have to say it's very strokeable in person!!

Thanks for looking, and now please take a moment to check out the main Charisma blog to see all the other talented DT's insprational projects!

CRAFT #75 - Dry Embossing

It's challenge time again at C.R.A.F.T!  This week, we want to see Dry embossing on your projects!

Our sponsor this week is Hope Jacare Doodles, and the lucky winner will receive 3 digis of their choice from her store!

For my project I used the beautiful Holly, isn't she perfect for those girly christmas cards! I've coloured as usual with Promarkers, and used BP by DCWV. My embossing is done with cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder and the edge punch is MS. The sentiment is Craftwork cards, along with the card candy, and the ribbon is from stash! The holly leaves in the corner are acually made using a snowflake punch, I really must get myself a holly leaf punch! But I think it looks ok for now!
Thanks for looking and dont forget to stop by the main challenge blog to see the rest of the DT's fab inspiration!
