Wedding card

This is a Wedding card I did for a recent commission

The image is Meljens coloured with Promarkers. I've cut it out with Nesties Scalloped Squares, and the edges are inked with Antique Linen distress ink. The sentiment is a Papermania stamp, and the paper is by Dovrcraft. The gems, ribbon and stars are from stash. I've also added stickles to the ring and swirls on the image.

AUD Sentiments – Anything goes with a sentiment!

I've coloured with Promarkers and used paper from the DVWV Citrus Stack. The leaves are made with a MS Punch and I've added some stickles to the glass :)

Resist technique

I wish I could take credit for the design of this gorgeous card, but alas, I saw it in a recent copy of Cardmaking and Papercraft and just had to give it a try myself :)

I first stamped the dandelions with versamark ink and embossed with clear embossing powder, then overstamped them slightly offset using a variegated colour big and juicy inkpad. I then sponged over the whole thing with various distress inks to build up the cloudy background.

The dandelion stamps are by Lavinia stamps and the greeting is by Personal Impressions. Ribbon is from stash.

Todays Makes

Are recycled! and both in aid of assisting me in a practical way at my craft fairs :)

I made this waist pouch from some canvas cloth shopping bags and some pink patterned squares of fabric from my fabric stash pile

And then this huuge carrier for my pasting table, from an old duvet cover!  

and neither cost me a penny as I already had everything I needed!

My sewing machine is having a well earned rest now ;) x
