DS4J - Clean and Simple

We're going all Clean and Simple at Digistamps for Joy this week! I've used this gorgeous image called Puppie, coloured with Promarkers and inked around the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink. I've cut the image out with circle nesties and made a mat from brown paper using scalloped circles. The ribbon is from stash. The Sentiment is from Craftwork cards and I've also added Distress ink to this.

I've used this gorgeous digi stamp, I'm not sure who it's by but if anyone knows please leave me a comment so I can give credit! Coloured with promarkers and cut with Oval Nestabilities dies. I've used MS doily lace border punch on the card edge and the purple centre strip. The ribbon is from stash and the sentiment is a stamp by Dovecraft. The metallic gold pearls I picked up on my most recent USA visit. I've added a touch of stickles to the flower middles to give some sparkle, and put a layer of glossy accents over the vase to give the illusion of glass.

I've used this lovely Stamping Boutique image and paper pieced the pockets and neck strap. The main part of the image is coloured with Promarkers and the edges have been inked with a DI inkpad. IDIC #46 - Masking Technique

Happy Sunday everyone! You know what that means...yep it's time for another challenge at I Did it Creations! Thanks to everyone who took the time to join in with our Sketch challenge last week!

This week we are challenging to you to use a Masking Technique. .If you aren't sure what this is then be sure to check out the main blog for some tips :)

I've done my masking digitally on my project, using Inga the bunny by Robyns Fetish, and an Easter Egg basket which was a freebie earlier this month from DigiSparkle. I've combined the two to make a cute little scene :) coloured with Promarkers as usual! I've cut the image out with Circle Nesties and used Scalloped circle Nesties on some Papermania Blueberry Hill paper to make a frame. I've added stickles to the scallope around the image and yellow gems to the flowers to give a bit of sparkle! The ribbon is from stash and the ticket sentiment is by Renate.

Now onto my challenge card! I've used this fab digi of a little boy in his race car by Stamping Boutique! Coloured with promarkers, I've cut it out with Deckled rectangles nesties and inked around the edges with my newest DI inkpad - Pumice Stone! The papers are from a male oriented DCWV stack and the sentiment is a papermania stamp. The brads are also papermania and the card candy is from craftwork cards.

I hate photographing easel cards, I can never seem to manage to get a decent pic without lots of clutter in the background! That might be due to my messiness or lack of photography skills...or probably both!
